It’s going to be an exciting 2024 for Liza Soberano, says James Reid who stands as the newly-minted Hollywood actress’ manager.
At the special advance screening of “Lisa Frankenstein” on Tuesday, Feb. 6, the actor-singer shared to the press that there’s some projects both internationally and in the Philippines that have been laid out for Soberano.
“She’s working very hard. There’s other projects in the pipeline ready. It’s gonna be a very exciting year for Liza. She has a lot of projects coming soon. We’re excited for projects both abroad and locally,” he said.
Reid expressed his happiness for Soberano, who’s currently in Los California, California, promoting the film as she makes a name for herself in Hollywood. She’s receiving praise, not just for her beauty but also for her talent in acting.
“It was really cool to see Liza in a completely different level, different setting, and if anything, she’s doing this really proud. I’m so happy for her. It’s a big dream come true for her and also for us, being behind her, supporting her,” said the actor.
In March 2023, Soberano opened up on Bea Alonzo’s vlog about the reason she signed with Careless Music, talent management company run by Reid, saying the team, despite being a startup company, supported her vision and personal plans.
“I will never forget the conversation we had. I asked them what the plan was for me. And they said, ‘I don’t know. You tell us. We are here to support whatever your dreams are.’ That’s when I knew I had found my team,” she said.
“People were shocked when word got around that I had signed up with a startup company. But what they didn’t understand was that I chose a team that wanted to support my vision, rather than lay one out for me,” added Soberano.
Last year, Soberano left Ogie Diaz’s management to sign with Careless Music under Reid.
