Benjamin Alves, Chelsea Robato say ‘I do’ in Makati

Kapuso actor Benjamin Alves and model-influencer Chelsea Robato finally exchanged vows at a grand wedding in Makati City on Sunday, Jan. 28, attended by their celebrity friends.
Alves and Robato tied the knot at the Santuario de San Antonio Parish in Forbes Park, Makati City, witnessed by their family and loved ones, as seen in a joint Instagram post of the Kapuso actor and the couple’s wedding planner. Reception followed at a hotel in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
“January 28, 2024,” the actor captioned his post showing snippets of the wedding.

Robato looked majestic as she walked down the aisle in a long-sleeved, white gown with lace overlay and back cut-outs by Francis Libiran, while Alves was in an all-white suit, also by the same designer.

Alves and Robato’s wedding was a attended by entertainment folks, among them, Yael Yuzon of Spongecola, who stood as one of the groomsmen, Kapuso actresses Carla Abellana and Solenn Heussaff, GMA Network lady boss Annette Gozon-Valdes, and Miss Universe Philippines creative director Jonas Gaffud.

Alves and Robato, who announced their engagement in December 2022, have been together since 2019. They started as childhood friends in Guam, but it was their mutual friend Thea Tolentino who reintroduced them to each other when they grew up.
Before their wedding, they shared that their ideal ceremony is “immersive” and “not static.”
