A duo consisting of a Kapamilya and a Kapuso housemate will be crowned the big winners at the culmination of the “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab” edition, as announced by the show’s titular Big Brother.
The announcement was made during the March 12 episode of the reality show after the final round of “House is Sinking,” which resulted in housemates from the two networks to rush together in pairs.
(It’s time for you to discover the true meaning behind the star-studded collab in this year’s edition. Starting today, a Kapuso and Kapamilya housemate will be a duo. They will face tasks, challenges, nominations, and evictions in my home. They will join forces because the fate of one will also determine the fate of their partner.)
Big Brother also announced how the Big Winners of the current edition will turn out.
For the first time in 20 years in my home, a Kapuso and Kapamilya duo will be named as the winners in this edition),” he said.
The pair of housemates ended up being the following:
- AC Bonifacio and Charlie Fleming
- River Joseph and Will Ashley
- Ralph de Leon and Mika Salamanca
- River Joseph and Will Ashley
- Klarisse de Guzman and Dustin Yu
- Kira Balinger and Josh Ford
- Brent Manalo and Michael Sager
- Esnyr Ranollo and AZ Martinez
- Ivana Alawi (house guest) and Ashley Ortega
However, Ortega ended up without a partner following Alawi’s departure from the Big Brother house on the show’s March 15 episode. It remains unknown if the Kapuso actress will be paired up with someone else.
It also remains unknown if the partners formed during the “House is Sinking” game will be final.
