James Reid welcomes 2024 in ‘new home’ with girlfriend Issa Pressman

Amid the outpouring of breakups that hit 2023, James Reid and his girlfriend, Filipino-British model Issa Pressman, welcomed the New Year looking more in love than ever, in what seemed to be an intimate celebration at the “u & i” singer’s “new home.”
Reid and Pressman enjoyed each other’s company on the first day of 2024 by playing with noisemakers, enjoying a swig of wine, and getting cozy in the former’s place, as seen in a Reel on his Instagram page last Tuesday, Dec. 2.
“New year, new home,” he said in the caption. Based on the lights on the towering buildings in the background, it can be speculated that Reid’s new home is located at a posh district in Makati.

Pressman also uploaded the same video on her Instagram account with the caption, “Keep spreading love in 2024. Happy [New Year], you guysss.”
Their celebration caught the attention of actress Liza Soberano and former beauty queen Christy McGarry in the comments, who wished them a Happy New Year.

Meanwhile, reactions to Reid and Pressman remained mixed, with some expressing their displeasure to the couple. Others hoped the negative comments towards them would stop, as they “looked happy” together.

Reid confirmed his romance with Pressman via a statement on Instagram last March 2023, after they were spotted together at the Harry Styles “Love on Tour” concert in Bulacan.
Among their first public appearances as a couple was the Preview Ball six months later, with the singer-actor declaring that he’s “very in love” with Pressman, noting he admires her “values in life.”
