Kim Molina reveals courting Jerald Napoles

Kim Molina has admitted that she was the one who courted her partner Jerald Napoles, and that they have been dating for 10 years now.
In an interview on Magandang Buhay, Molina said that out of their 10 years together, they were only official for six years, but they really started off as “best friends.”
“Ako po nanligaw. Gwapo diba? Bestfriends po kasi kami. Para nga pong hindi siya ligaw. Alam niyo ‘yung pareho kayo ng mga goals in life,” she shared.
Molina also revealed in those years that they have been together; they have broken up several times, citing the nature of their work in the entertainment industry.
“Dumating na po sa point na parang tinetest namin, ‘Kaya ba natin to? Itutuloy pa ba natin?’ Within the years na magkasama po kami, ilang beses na kami nagkahiwalay,” she said.
“Pareho po kasi kami na when it comes to work, nagkaroon ng opportunities dito, parang dito ba muna tayo magfofocus or tayong dalawa muna. ‘Uy nilo-love team ako dito, doon. May time pa ba tayo for each other?’ So we had that phase, but at the end naging okay naman po,” added the comedienne.
Last year, Napoles shared his thoughts on settling down with his long-term girlfriend, noting that they were talking about it, but have no concrete plans on marriage.
“So now, we feel that we need to maximize our individual potentials before we settle down and start our own family. Napag-uusapan naman (ang wedding), pero wala pang concrete plans. We talk about our future at alam naman namin kunsaan kami papunta.” said the actor.
The couple started as friends before they became a couple. Their relationship sparked during the musical “Rak of Aegis,” and they debuted as a pair in the movie “Ang Babaeng Walang Pakiramdam” in 2021.
Their on-screen partnership was followed by “Ikaw at Ako at ang Ending,” and for the third time, they worked in the romantic-comedy film “Girlfriend Na Pwede Na” in January 2023.
