Paulo Avelino left fans and fellow celebrities in awe as he welcomed the New Year by flaunting his toned physique, which he achieved after a year of fitness training.

Through his Instagram page on Wednesday, Jan. 3, the “Linlang” actor showed two photos of himself: one from his portrayal of the character Victor and the other was him flaunting his six-pack abs.

“My 2023 in a nutshell,” he said in the caption.

Avelino seemed to have started his fitness training in January last year for the ABS-CBN TV series, as seen in a separate video on his Instagram page. His fitness program included boxing and lifting weights.

Meanwhile, Avelino is set to star in the Philippine adaptation of the hit K-drama “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim,” which originally starred Park Seo-jun and Park Min-young. Avelino will star alongside Kim Chiu, whom he also worked with in “Linlang.”

The adaptation, which is slated for a 2024 premiere, is a collaboration between ABS-CBN, Dreamscape Entertainment, and Viu Philippines.
