If she would be given a chance to be in another woman’s shoes for a day, Leni Robredo said she would want to be in Kathryn Bernardo’s, with the former vice president describing the actress as a “good person.”

During a recent talk at Ateneo de Naga University, Robredo was asked, “If you could be in any other woman’s shoes for a day, who would you be?”, as seen in a clip shared by one @imsamanthacedo on X on Thursday, Dec. 7.

Robredo’s first answer was Taylor Swift, saying that the American singer-songwriter has “defied all odds” and has “maximized the little that was given to her.”

The lawyer then said, “May naisip pa pala akong local (I also thought of one local artist)… Kathryn Bernardo,” quipping how she was “nagpapakabagets” (trying to feel young).

“Naisip ko lang siya kasi (I thought of her because) she has been in the news lately… I know her personally and she is a good person,” she continued.  “Aram nindo (Alam ninyo), she has been helping us very very quietly.”

The clip was abruptly cut and it was not immediately clear if Robredo elaborated on the “help” she has been receiving from the actress, but the audience cheered for the former vice president and noted how she is with “Team Kath.”

Meanwhile, Robredo’s interaction with the students was also shown on her official Facebook page.

It can be recalled that Bernardo was one of the celebrities who declared support for Robredo during the latter’s presidential campaign in 2022.

Meanwhile, Bernardo has been making headlines lately after she confirmed to the public her breakup with actor Daniel Padilla. The former couple was in a relationship for 11 years.
