Kathryn Bernardo debuted her fiery red tresses just days after confirming her split with longtime beau Daniel Padilla, a color that symbolizes adventure and self-confidence.

In her first Instagram post following her breakup announcement, Bernardo showed her followers her edgy new hairstyle, with its bright orangey waves falling just below her shoulders, and trendy curtain bangs seemingly hiding her eyes.

“I hope Santa still recognizes me with orange hair,” Bernardo captioned her post, along with an orange emoji.

Bernardo’s celebrity friends and followers showed some love to her new hairstyle, among them Miles Ocampo, Alora Sasam, Leila Alcasid, Cassy Legaspi, Alyssa Muhlach, Heart Evangelista, Chie Filomeno, Ivana Alawi, Sarah Lahbati, Jolina Magdangal, and Kakai Bautista.

The actress is no stranger to rocking different hairstyles throughout her career. Her past looks included a layered cut with curtain bangs, ash colored long bob with fringe bangs, and long dark brown waves, just to name a few.

Bernardo confirmed her breakup with Padilla after an 11-year relationship in a letter on Instagram last Nov. 30, where she clarified that they had been “drifting apart for a while.”
