Frankie Pangilinan grieves death of pet dog of 16 years
Frankie Pangilinan, who is currently in the United States for her studies, is overwhelmed with grief as she mourns the death of her “best friend” Bea, her pet Beagle of 16 years.
Frankie spoke of Bea through her Instagram page on Monday, Nov. 13, recalling their memories together including when she ran away with the latter when she was still a little kid.
“Thank you for being my best friend, even and especially on the days I had none. Sixteen years is too long for someone like you and too short for someone like me but in that time, you taught me a love so unconditional,” Frankie addressed her pet dog, adding how she had cried for six hours after the news of Bea’s death.
“…I will never forgive myself for not being home to say goodbye. Did you hear me on the phone? Here is what I said, between the premature grief, the sniffling: ‘I love you, Bea. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you,'” she continued. “I don’t know what this life is without you and I am so scared now at the prospect of finding out.”

Frankie then expressed her gratitude to her dad, former senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, and her sister Miel for helping her and Bea during her last moments.
Kiko, Miel as well as Frankie’s mom, Megastar Sharon Cuneta, also expressed grief as they remembered Bea via their respective Instagram pages.
