Camille Prats reveals she underwent surgery to remove cyst on her foot
Camille Prats disclosed that she had to pause working out for a month because she needed to recover from the surgery she underwent to remove the ganglion cyst on her foot.
According to Mayo Clinic, a ganglion cyst is a lump filled with a jellylike fluid that most often appears along the tendons or joints of wrists or hands, and in ankles and feet.
“About a month ago, I had a minor surgery on my left foot. Had a ganglion cyst removed [because] it’s been growing and bothering me whenever I wear rubber shoes for workout,” the actress-TV host said on her Instagram page on Tuesday, Nov. 14, showing herself on a wheelchair and with stitches on her foot.
“Recovery took more than expected; [the] doctor said 10 days but the wound wasn’t healing as fast as I’d hoped. This meant no workout for a month for me,” she continued. “For a time, I felt frustrated for not being able to do my usual routine.”
Prats struggled to begin working out again, admitting she “almost always wants to stop.” “But then I realized, I have to keep going and get over the hard part for me to get stronger and do it again the next day.

“Teary-eyed reading your encouraging words. [I] didn’t realize how much I needed that. Thank you, thank you guys!” Prats wrote.
