WATCH: Chito Miranda throws surprise birthday party for wife Neri Naig
With the help of friends, Chito Miranda pulled off a 90’s-inspired surprise party for the 40th birthday of his wife Neri Naig.
In the Instagram video shared by Miranda, the “Star Circle Quest” alum, who recently joined the 40’s club last Sept. 7, was overcome with emotion as she was welcomed by a collective birthday greeting from family and friends.
The emotional Naig, afterward, shared an embrace with the Parokya ni Edgar frontman, and interacted with guests who channeled 90’s fashion.
The birthday girl also partied in her 90’s look, as she changed into a trendy red and white ensemble — matched by her better half’s red checkered shirt. She completed her look by wearing a red headband.
In his post’s caption, Miranda thanked everyone who contributed to the success of the surprise celebration, as he expressed delight in being able to do something for his wife.

In an earlier post, “The Voice Generations” coach also penned a sweet birthday shout-out for his wife of almost nine years, who, he said, looks “amazing” at 40.
“40 ka na, baby ko…. at palagi kong sinasabi sayo na excited ako tumanda kasama mo. Pangako, you will always be my baby, at aalagaan kita [nang] todo[-]todo hanggang sa pagtanda. (You’re now 40, my baby… and I always tell you that I’m excited to grow old with you. I promise that you will always be my baby, and that I will take great care of you until we’re old). Happy Birthday, Ms. Neri!!! I LOVE YOU!!!” he said.
Meanwhile, the entrepreneur also shared her realizations as a now 40-year-old woman. On Instagram, she talked about exhibiting kindness in facing life’s challenges and gaining lessons from past mistakes, among others. She also advised her followers to “[b]e with good people, cherish real friends, and set boundaries.”
Naig further expressed gratitude to the Lord for blessing her with a family, from whom she receives an abundance of support and love, and for having a husband who has been her supporter and defender.
