WATCH: Neri Naig gifts Chito Miranda with pickup truck for his birthday

Chito Miranda was “overwhelmed” with joy and excitement after his wife Neri Naig surprised him with a brand-new pickup truck for his birthday.
The Parokya ni Edgar frontman was expecting to talk to a visitor and had no idea he was being led to his new vehicle, as seen in a video shown by Naig on her Instagram page on Friday, Feb. 10.
“Hindi ako makapaniwala. Babayaran ko ‘yan,” he told Naig while beside the gift. “Dream ko talaga magkaganito. It’s too much…as a gift sa ‘yo (from you). I will pay for it.” (I cannot believe it. I’ll pay for it. It was really my dream to have this. It’s too much…as a gift from you. I will pay for it.)
While Miranda kept on insisting that he would pay for the pickup truck, Naig assured her husband that she planned and saved up for it for years.
“I’m very happy. Actually, I’m overwhelmed,” Miranda said.

On his Instagram page, Miranda spoke about how he had always wanted to have a pickup truck. The singer stated that he did not buy one because they were allocating their money to income-generating investments.
“Delayed gratification. Since alam niya na hindi ako bibili ng sasakyan para sa sarili ko, kahit gaano ko pa kagusto magkapick-up, ang ginawa niya, siya na lang ang bumili for me,” he wrote in the caption. “Ako ang tunay na [wais na mister].”
(Delayed gratification. Since she knew that I would not buy a car for myself even if I badly wanted a pickup truck, she bought it for me. I’m a real smart husband.)

Miranda and Naig, who tied the knot in December 2014, have three children together, namely Pia, Miggy and Cash. For Miranda’s birthday last year, Naig gifted him with a yacht that has a bedroom, mini living room and restroom. /ra
