Neri Naig ventures into talent management with new agency

Neri Naig is adding another feather in her cap as she ventures into talent management with her new company, Wais Communications Inc.
The celebrity mompreneur announced her new business venture to the public while showing a photo of herself with her family, via her Instagram page yesterday, Dec. 12.
“Manager na [ako]! Mula ngayon, ako na po mismo ang magma-manage at magha-handle ng mga endorsements ng family namin,” she said. (I’m now a manager. From now on, I will be managing and handling my family’s endorsements myself.)
Naig clarified that she will not be managing her husband Chito Miranda since his band Parokya ni Edgar is still with the management agency TopBeat. She has also set up her own production team, Wais na Misis Productions, for various projects.
“It was Direk Lauren (Dyogi) who suggested na gumawa na ako ng sarili kong agency and nag-agree naman si Chito. Medyo hesitant ako nung una, pero with my husband’s support, na-convince nila ako. At eto na nga, ipinakikilala ko na ang @waiscommunicationsinc na maghahandle na sa Miranda Family,” she narrated.
(It was director Lauren Dyogi who suggested I set up my own agency and Chito agreed. I was a little hesitant at first, but with my husband’s support I was convinced. Now here we are, I am introducing [Wais Communications Inc.] which will handle the Miranda family.)
Aside from her own family, Naig aims to manage female influencers as well—from single women to mothers and wives.
“Welcome kayo sa Wais Communications Inc bilang influencer… Bilang babad naman sa pagso-social media, eh ‘di gawin nating mas productive ang araw nating lahat,” she quipped. (You are welcome at Wais Communications Inc. as an influencer… Since you spend a lot of time on social media, why don’t we make our days more productive.)

Earlier this year, Naig graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Baguio. She is now pursuing a master’s degree in business administration. /ra
