Beauty queen-actress Vickie Rushton is one happy, blooming mom-to-be, as she shared a snap of her baby bump at 36 weeks on social media.
The “Pinoy Big Brother” alum marked the 36th week of her pregnancy journey on Monday, July 17, via Instagram. In her post, she shared multiple photos, showing both her growing bump—on which she placed a heart that she formed with her hands—and also a seemingly recent ultrasound snap of her first child.
In her post’s caption, the former Mutya ng Pilipinas International titleholder couldn’t hide her excitement to commence a new chapter of her life as a parent with actor husband Jason Abalos.
“And just like that, I’m 36 weeks pregnant todaaay! 9 months of having two beating hearts & sharing one home [teary-eyed face emoji],” wrote Rushton, adding how the first-time parents are “almost there” toward adding a new member to their family. “[W]e can’t wait to see you, our little love! [heart emoji]”

Aside from Abalos who reacted through smiling face with heart-shaped eyes emojis, several people, including friends from the entertainment industry, as well as former pageant titleholders, sent Rushton love via the comments section.
Kapamilya actress Loisa Andalio extended a congratulatory message to her “[A]te [V]imskie,” while Miss Global 2022 Shane Tormes echoed Rushton’s sentiments, and said that she also “[c]an’t wait to see” the couple’s “[b]aby [a]ngel.”

In an earlier post on Instagram, Abalos shared a video of himself walking toward his wife who was relaxing by the beach. The “Bihag” actor—in his post’s caption—told Rushton, “Malapit ka na maging nanay (You’ll be a mother soon), thank you [emojis].”

Months after tying the knot in September 2022, Abalos shared via Instagram—on Christmas Day—that the couple were hoping to welcome a new addition to their family the following year. Rushton revealed her pregnancy to the public in May by uploading a video of her baby’s ultrasound on Instagram. /ra
