Kim Chiu reminisces moments with Xian Lim in birthday greeting for boyfriend
Kapamilya star Kim Chiu looked back on memories with boyfriend Xian Lim, as she greeted the actor on his 34th birthday on Wednesday, July 12.
Chiu went sentimental with her birthday shout-out for Lim, uploading a video on Instagram, in which she shared clips and photos of their moments together, including from trips abroad.
In her post’s caption, the “It’s Showtime” mainstay did not hold back on the sweetness level, as she addressed the “Hearts on Ice” actor as “the person who holds my [heart emoji].”
“Happy Birthday to the person who holds my [heart emoji]. Thank you for being you and always putting a smile on my face,” Chiu told her longtime boyfriend, adding how she’s looking forward to collecting more moments with him.
“Cheers to many more laughs to share, places to explore, things to solve, and many more, most especially, birthdays to celebrate. [emojis],” said Chiu who also assured Lim that “I am always here for you, supporting you in everything you do! [face blowing a kiss emoji]” “Happy Birthday @xianlimm [emojis].”

Lim, responding to Chiu, commented, “[teary-eyed face emojis] [birthday cake emoji] Thank you for this! I love you so much [teary-eyed face emojis] [heart emojis]”
On her Instagram Stories, Chiu shared a clip of the pair having dinner at a restaurant.
Greetings from fans and friends filled the comments section of Chiu’s post, such as those from Melai Cantiveros and Frenchie Dy, who recently worked with Chiu in the series “Fit Check: Confessions of an Ukay Queen.” Chiu’s younger brother, John Paul, also gave Lim a shout-out. “Happy birthday bro @xianlimm,” the professional pilot wrote.
The birthday boy also posted on Instagram to mark his special day, but he, however, shared in his caption that he’s not planned anything special for this year’s celebration.
“Nothing fancy this year. Just a day filled with being grateful to every one that I’ve come across in my years of existence [smiling face with smiling eyes emoji],” said the former Kapamilya actor, who proceeded to thank all who remembered his birthday. “Thank you to everyone sending me [birthday cake emoji] greetings! I truly appreciate it [heart emoji].”
In the same post, Lim responded to those asking about his age by uploading a video, in which he performed multiple deadlifts — each lift corresponded to one year. To everyone’s delight, when he was about to make his 34th lift, the count suddenly returned to 28.
