Sharon Cuneta pulled another surprise when, just days after announcing her upcoming collaboration with Kapuso actor Alden Richards, the veteran actress told her followers of Miles Ocampo and Tonton Gutierrez joining them in the upcoming Nuel Naval feature.

The former “Star Power” host was all smiles as she snapped photos with Richards, as well as Ocampo and Gutierrez, who have already previously worked with the Megastar.

Cuneta uploaded photos of their encounter in an Instagram post, through which she disclosed the addition of Ocampo and Gutierrez, calling the two “our other co-stars.”

Gutierrez, who currently stars in the Kapuso series “Hearts on Ice,” has worked multiple times with Cuneta in film projects such as “Nakagapos na Puso,” “Kung Aagawin Mo ang Lahat sa Akin,” and “Pasan Ko ang Daigdig,” which was directed by National Artist for Cinema Lino Brocka.

In her previous announcement, one user brought up the topic of a father character in the upcoming movie. While details about Gutierrez’s role haven’t been divulged to the public, comments are seemingly pointing to Gutierrez for the role of Cuneta’s love interest.

One netizen commented asked, “Dapat ba kami kiligin?? [face with hand covering mouth emoji],” while another said, “Balik tambalan na [crying face emoji] SHARON AND TONTON [hand forming a heart shape emoji].”

Former child star Ocampo, who had previously played Cuneta’s daughter in the 2009 comedy movie “BFF: Best Friends Forever,” also commented, writing “I love you, mama [white heart emoji],” to which Cuneta replied, “I love you my anak since ‘BFF,’ and you were only 11! Thank you for never forgetting me. [heart emojis].”

Director Naval also shared snaps from the second day of their workshop, which workshop coordinator and actress Ina Feleo—as seen in the post’s comments section—described as “One of the best workshops ever [heart emoji].”

Ocampo, who revealed in April that she had to undergo thyroidectomy, recently acted in the film “Missed Connections,” which also stars Kelvin Miranda, JC Santos, and Chie Filomeno.

Aside from the movie project with the Megastar, Gutierrez is also set to appear in the film “Unspoken Letters” with wife Glydel Mercado and other veteran actors such as Gladys Reyes and Daria Ramirez. EDV
