Miles Ocampo thankful for ‘new life’ on 26th birthday
Just a month after undergoing surgery for papillary thyroid carcinoma, Miles Ocampo is grateful to have a second chance at life as she recently celebrated her 26th birthday.
Ocampo expressed gratitude for her “new year and new life” on her Instagram account on Monday, May 1, as she shared photos of herself smiling while holding a birthday cake.
“Grateful for good health, a new year, and a new life. will make sure to make it a great one [emojis] thank you for the love and greetings, everyone,” she said in the caption.

The “Batang Quiapo” star’s post comes a month after revealing on Instagram that she underwent surgery because she had been diagnosed with papillary thyroid carcinoma.
Ocampo shared that she first experienced symptoms around late last year, where she was told to go through thyroidectomy surgery to have her thyroid glands removed. EDV
