Bea Alonzo recounts BF who was obsessed with her weight

Bea Alonzo recalled some of her past relationships including when she dated a guy who closely monitored her weight gain every day, as well as when she went on a blind date with a guy with a dry mouth.
The actress said this during a “Two Truths and a Lie” game with Mariel Rodriguez, as seen in a vlog on the latter’s YouTube channel on Sunday, June 4. During the game, Alonzo was asked to give three personal experiences about dating, one of which should be a lie.
“First, I once blind-dated a guy na hindi ko ipinagpatuloy dahil meron siyang laway na puti sa gilid [ng mouth],” Alonzo said. Ang gwapo-gwapo pa naman niya but hindi ko talaga kinaya. Sabi ko it’s a no for me kahit gaano siya ka-gwapo.”
(First, I once blind-dated a guy whom I did not pursue dating because he had a [dry mouth]. He was so handsome, but I could not take it. It was a no for me even if he was so handsome.)
“[Second], meron akong naging jowa na pinagwe-weighing scale ako almost every day just to check if I’m heavier,” she continued. “Third, nakipagbreak ako sa isang guy on his birthday na meron pa siyang birthday bash tapos do’n ko sinabi—.”
(Second, I dated a guy who asked me to use a weighing scale almost every day to check if I’m heavier. Third, I broke up with a guy during his birthday bash.)
Rodriguez picked the third instance as the lie, which Alonzo confirmed as the right answer. Alonzo opted not to name the guys she was pertaining to in her two other choices.
Rodriguez, for her part, shared some of her dating experiences as well including when she dated someone she knew was bad for her. She also revealed that there was an instance when a guy she was dating left her at a restaurant after he was irked by a joke she made.
Alonzo is currently in a relationship with actor Dominic Roque. The actress confirmed their relationship in August 2021. The couple marked their first anniversary in January last year, with the actress describing their relationship as “one of the best decisions she has ever made.” /ra
