Kim Atienza declined offer to host new ‘Eat Bulaga’ due to prior commitments — manager
Noel Ferrer, the talent manager of Kapuso host Kim Atienza, seemingly confirmed that the latter was tapped to host the new “Eat Bulaga” program, but had to decline the offer due to prior commitments with another Kapuso program, “Tiktoclock.”
Ferrer made the revelation on his Instagram account on Monday, June 5, as he shared screenshots of Inquirer Bandera’s article and a speculation by GMA-7 fan account Kapuso Forever that was posted on Facebook.
“Thank you for keeping @kuyakim_atienza top of mind in premier hosting platforms (because he certainly works hard and delivers very well in all of them) but we’d like to clarify that he cannot do the Eat Bulaga replacement show,” he captioned his post.
The talent manager also pointed out that hosting “Eat Bulaga” is a conflict to Atienza’s schedule due to his prior commitments with “Tiktoclock,” where the latter is signed as an exclusive talent.
“It conflicts with his prior commitment with the daily program “TIKTOCLOCK” (which is also performing very well in the ratings) produced by GMA Network where Kim is contracted as an exclusive talent,” he said in the caption of his post.

Ferrer’s post caught the attention of netizens on social media, with some hoping that Atienza won’t be involved in the debacle between Tito and Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon, and production company TAPE Inc. Among the commenters was Atienza’s wife, Felicia, who thanks Ferrer for “clearing the air.”
While Atienza has yet to address speculations about being tapped to host “Eat Bulaga,” he took to his personal Instagram page on Tuesday, June 6, to share a photo of himself having a meal with former “It’s Showtime” co-hosts Billy Crawford and Eric Tai.
“Eats Chowtime,” he wrote, which can be noted as a seeming apparent play on the noontime shows “Eat Bulaga” and “It’s Showtime.”
