Carlo Aquino and Trina Candaza were together as they attended the moving up ceremony of their daughter Mithi, along with the actor’s parents.
Mithi was all smiles while her dad hugged her and her mom posed for a photo beside them, as seen on the Instagram page dedicated to the 2-year-old kid.
Mithi was also seen posing for a photo with her grandparents, as well as listening to a goodbye song while in her dad’s embrace.
“Moving Up Day,” the caption read.
Fans then congratulated Mithi for her milestone, with some complimenting the kid and pointing out her resemblance to Aquino.

Aquino and Candaza made headlines in January after the actor claimed that he was being prevented from seeing their daughter. Candaza denied this, saying Aquino visits Mithi and fulfills his responsibility as a father, but he allegedly “only gives the bare minimum.”
Aquino and Candaza became a couple in January 2019, and welcomed Mithi in September 2020. The pair broke up in December 2021 after being in a relationship for three years.
Meanwhile, Aquino confirmed in January that he is dating actress Charlie Dizon. Prior to his confirmation, Aquino and Dizon were spotted together at a “holiday dinner” and on a La Union trip with the actor’s family. /ra
