Son Ye-Jin joins Hyun Bin in Japan for brief anniversary celebration

South Korean superstars Son Ye-Jin and Hyun Bin were spotted in Japan earlier this week, a few days after their one-year wedding anniversary, and further quelling a rumor that the two are getting a divorce.
The actress’ management label, Msteam Entertainment, confirmed that she had accompanied her husband for his official schedules in Japan, according to Korean entertainment platform, ALLKPop. Hyun was in Japan to promote a special edition pop-up store opening for the brand “Loro Piana,” and his wife accompanied him for a few days.

Fan account @hyunbinactor_ likewise posted on Instagram a picture supposedly of the couple while shopping at a luxury brand store. Ye-Jin, in a baseball cap and face mask, was facing front with her eyes twinkling at a man, believed to be Hyun, whose back was behind the camera.

Netizens also saw the “Crash Landing On You” stars at a hotel in Japan, one of the few times that they were spotted together in public.
Ye-Jin also posted a photo of a cherry blossom tree on her Instagram, another indication that she was indeed in Japan.

Earlier, the couple’s respective camps strongly denied claims of a content creator who started a rumor that they are getting a divorce due to the actor’s supposed gambling addiction that resulted in Ye-Jin suffering some financial losses as well. They branded the reports as “groundless” and “fake news,” and that they will take legal action if the reports are not taken down.
The celebrity couple worked together in the 2018 film “The Negotiation” and the hit K-drama “Crash Landing on You,” before they were eventually confirmed to be in a relationship on New Year’s Day of 2021.
Hyun and Ye-Jin tied the knot in March, 2022, and welcomed their baby boy eight months later. The actress showed a glimpse of their son a month later, although she didn’t disclose the name of their child.
