LOOK: ‘Cedie’ stars Ronaldo Valdez, Tom Taus reunite after 27 years
Ronaldo Valdez and Tom Taus brought nostalgia to fans of the 1996 film “Cedie: Ang Munting Prinsipe,” as the actors met each other again after 27 long years.
Valdez, who played as the grandfather of Taus’ Cedie in the film, gave a glimpse of their reunion through his Instagram page on Friday, March 17.
“Before Eloy, there was Cedie,” the veteran actor said, referring to Daniel Padilla, who portrayed the role of his grandson in “2 Good 2 Be True.”
“Reunited after 27 years! It was indeed a great catch up!” Valdez added.
Valdez and Taus shared a meal in a restaurant together with the former’s talent manager, Jamela Santos. Valdez also revealed that it was Santos who organized and made the reunion happen.

Fans were delighted upon seeing “Mahal na Conde” and “Master Cedric” together, with some regarding the 1996 movie as one of the most “unforgettable films.”
“Cedie” is the Filipino movie adaptation of the 1988 Japanese animated series “Little Lord Fauntleroy.” Aside from Valdez and Taus, the film cast also includes Jaclyn Jose, Carlo Aquino as well as late actors Mark Gil and Anita Linda. /ra
