Andi Eigenmann says Philmar Alipayo taught her how to love herself
Andi Eigenmann revealed that celebrity surfer Philmar Alipayo is the “perfect” partner as he taught her to become the best version of herself.
Eigenmann opened up about her relationship with Alipayo in a vlog uploaded on Carla Humphries’ YouTube channel on Saturday, Feb. 25, saying that he taught her to embrace her flaws.
“Honestly, I can say a lot of things obviously that are nice about him that make [Philmar] a good fit for me. But at the end of the day, it’s because it’s being with him when I met him or when I built this life with him, it was when I learned to love myself the most also,” she said.
The “Agua Bendita” star also revealed that the celebrity surfer taught how to “enjoy” being herself as a way of practicing self-love.
“Because the priority is yourself. It’s my life, and in order for me to be the best mom that I can be, in order for you to be your best self, you have to love that. You have to enjoy being that person. It was when I was with him. He always supports me in achieving my goals and being the best version of myself,” she added.

Because I’ve accomplished a lot of things when I was younger? But he did too. He continues to do so too, and that should be equally as admirable too,” she noted.
Eigenmann and Alipayo, who are currently based in Siargao, got engaged in December 2020. The couple has two children together namely, Lilo and Koa. She has another daughter, Ellie, with actor Jake Ejercito. EDV
