LOOK: Andi Eigenmann’s three-year-old daughter Lilo rides a shortboard ‘on her own’
At an early age, Andi Eigenmann’s three-year-old daughter Lilo seemed to know the basics of surfing as the celebrity mom revealed that the latter can already ride a shortboard by herself.
Eigenmann took to her personal Instagram page on Tuesday, Feb. 21 to express her pride over Lilo’s surfing milestone, as well as share glimpses of her daughter’s surfing lessons with her husband, professional surfer Philmar Alipayo.
“Surfing lessons with papa are now a go for Lilo, and [I’m] so happy for them. Also, we have another goofy-footed surfer in the fam,” she said. “Swipe to see Lilo riding waves on her own on a [shortboard], and some surfed out smiles from the littles today.”

According to the surfing platform Fresh Surf, a shortboard is shorter and lighter than the usual surfboard. It is said to measure 5’8” to 6’8” inches in length, and is said to be used for making radical and fast turns on the waves.
Article continues after this advertisementEigenmann, who’s currently based in Siargao, is known to be vocal in her support for Lilo as an aspiring surfer, as she also talked about her daughter “leveling up on her swimming skills” in April 2022.
The celebrity mother also shared that Lilo and her son Koa attended their first day of classes at an academy in January of this year. EDV
