Jason Dy celebrates 8th year in show biz with comeback song ‘Ulit-Ulit’
R&B crooner Jason Dy released a new single, “Ulit-Ulit,” marking his return to the music scene and his eighth year in show biz.
On Tuesday night, Feb. 28, Dy surprised his fans and followers by going live on Instagram and TikTok for his “anniversary salubong.” Shortly after, at the strike of midnight (March 1), “Ulit-Ulit” premiered on various digital streaming platforms.
March 1 is also the date Dy was named the grand winner of the second season of “The Voice of the Philippines” in 2015.
Dy himself wrote the new track, which was produced in collaboration with his co-artist Theo Martel, and exclusively released under Star Music.
In “Ulit-Ulit,” Dy talks about two lovers’ constant quarrels and the longing for and return of their once loving relationship.

During his Instagram Live, Dy revealed to his fans that he is currently working on more new songs and a new album that will be coming soon.
The Kapamilya singer also posted a photo of his “The Voice” trophy on Twitter with the caption, “8 years!”

He then tweeted a photo of him with his former “The Voice” coach Sarah Geronimo, with whom he shares the same showbiz anniversary.

Geronimo, meanwhile, marks her 20th anniversary in the industry since she rose to popularity after winning the television singing competition “Star for a Night” in March 2002. /ra
