Danica Sotto, husband Marc Pingris welcome third child

Danica Sotto and husband, former professional basketball player Marc Pingris, have welcomed their third child, a baby boy who they gave a French-sounding name.
Pingris, who tied the knot with Sotto in March 2007, took to his personal Instagram account to share his excitement about being a father of three on Sunday, Jan. 15. He also shared glimpses of his wife’s labor through a series of photos.
“LORD, thank you! Gabayan nyo po ako na mapalaki sila ng maayos at gabayan mo ko Lord sa lahat lahat ng bagay na gagawin ko para sa pamilya ko. Salamat at maayos na nanganak si Danica salamat po Ama,” he said.
(Lord, thank you! Lord, please guide me as I raise my child and help me with the things I want to do for my family. Thank you for making sure that Danica gives birth safely. Thank you, Father.)

The former athlete also revealed that the name of their baby boy is Jean-Luc Sotto Pingris. “Welcome to the world Jean-Luc Pingris! Love you! Thank you sa mga kaibigan at family namin ni Danica sa lahat ng mga nag pray,” he added.

Sotto also praised the Lord in a separate post for a “smooth and safe” delivery.
“All glory, praise and honor to God! Grateful for a smooth and safe delivery. [heart emoji] Our hearts [are] filled with so much joy!!! Still feels so surreal,” she said.

The actress expressed her excitement about welcoming her baby boy.
“Can’t believe he’s finally in my arms. Thank you to those who prayed and believed with us. [emojis],” Sotto added.
Celebrity mothers Pauleen Luna-Sotto, Sunshine Dizon, Iya Villania, Camille Prats, Karla Estrada, Liz Uy, Mariel Padilla, and Iza Calzado congratulated the couple on their third child.

“Congratulations, Mare (friend)! So so happy for you guys,” Calzado said.
“Ang sarap (What joy)! We love you all,” Pauleen, who is also Sotto’s stepmother, wrote.
Sotto and Pingris announced that they’re expecting their third child in June 2022, while his gender was confirmed in September. The couple have two older children together, Jean Michael and Caela. EDV
