Simon Cowell death hoax a ‘terrible prank, says his ex Sinitta
Simon Cowell’s friend and former on-and-off flame Sinitta expressed her disappointment over a death hoax involving the “America’s Got Talent” judge and called the rumor a “terrible prank.”
The singer clarified that the death hoax was not true while telling the public that she got to talk to Cowell over the phone, as seen on her Instagram page yesterday, Jan. 9.
“Talking to him here live #FaceTime but a terrible prank that [Simon Cowell] has died. It freaked me out last night when people started messaging me!” she said. “Simon is NOT dead, people. Very much alive and well. Thank God I have a great sense [of humor] but you really scared me #notfunny.”
Sinitta added in her Instagram Stories, also yesterday, that the incident “really scared [her].”

Aside from being a judge for “America’s Got Talent,” Cowell is also a creator of the show. He also serves as a judge for other reality talent competitions including “Britain’s Got Talent,” “The X Factor” and “American Idol.” /ra
