Kris Aquino asks for more prayers for her, son Bimby’s medical assessment
Kris Aquino gave a New Year update to her fans and disclosed that she and her son Bimby will be undergoing confinement for their medical assessment.
The Queen of All Media said this through the comments section of fan page @krisaquinoworld which uploaded a photo of her taken on New Year, on its Instagram page on Tuesday, Jan. 3. Aquino pointed out that Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste, who spent the occasion with her and took the photo, did not inform her beforehand that he would send it to the handler of the fan page.
Nonetheless, Aquino expressed appreciation to Leviste for being “kind” and for visiting her even when her place was far from where Leviste was staying.
“I have avoided posting any pics of myself because I’ve been privately chronicling my journey — hoping na after the many months na titiisin ko ang immunosuppressant therapy… I’d be able to show all of you in a documentary na hindi ako SUMUKO, sa lahat ng kinailangan pagdaanan, tinuloy ang LABAN (that I did not give up and that amid the many obstacles I faced, I continued to fight),” she said.
Aquino then gave an account of the possible side effects she would experience during the therapy including feeling weak, having low grade fever, throwing up often, as well as weight and hair loss.

Next week we super need MORE especially for our doctors,” she stated. “Bimb needs to go in for a few nights confinement for his full medical assessment. (He [and] kuya (Josh) had their primary immunodeficiency genetic testing done because both of them have the same blood type as me, like all my siblings [and] our mom).”

My 6’1, 15-year-old sa pediatrics pa rin so magbabantay ako (will still be in the pediatrics so I will keep watch). Then I’ll be confined for 5 nights to confirm that my previous diagnosis of having [four] autoimmune conditions was correct [and] to confirm if I do have a 5th because of my recent blood panel,” she continued. “Thank you for being so compassionate [and] consistent.”
