Kris Aquino welcomed the new year in good spirits as she celebrated the occasion with her sons Josh and Bimby, along with Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste in California.

Leviste, who first reached out to Aquino in 2019 to be her “friend,” showed moments from his visit to the Queen of All Media through his Instagram page on Tuesday, Jan. 3.

While it was not immediately known whether or not romance is brewing between the two, it can be recalled that Aquino turned down Leviste in 2020 because he lacked a “sensitivity chip” and “wasn’t polite with his text messages.” In 2021, Leviste visited Aquino in her home in Taguig and dined with Bimby and lawyer Gideon Peña.

Aquino, who has been diagnosed with four autoimmune diseases, earlier expressed gratitude to those who have been praying for her health. She and her family are awaiting the extension approval of their stay in the U.S. where she has been receiving her medical treatments. EDV
