Belle Mariano welcomed 2023 with her onscreen partner Donny Pangilinan, as she joined his family’s New Year reunion for the first time.
Mariano was spotted at Donny’s family reunion in a photo uploaded by his cousin, Gab Valenciano, on his personal Instagram account on Monday, Jan. 2. To recall, Donny’s father Anthony is the brother of talent manager Angeli Pangilinan, the wife of singer Gary Valenciano as well as Gab’s mother.
“Starting the year right with my favorite people,” Gab wrote in the caption.

Aside from the singer-actress, another non-family member spotted in the reunion is “Mula Sa Buwan” star Myke Solomon, who happens to be the fiancé and co-actor of theater actress Gab Pangilinan.
Also included in the photo are Donny’s siblings, Hannah, Benjamin, and Ella, Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan with husband Anthony, R&B singer Kiana Valenciano, and Gary Valenciano.
Belle and Donny, however, are yet to share photos of the family gathering on their respective social media accounts. Despite this, fans of the loveteam flocked to the comments section to show their support.
“OMG! [sobbing emoji] my #DonBelle heart. [heart emoji] thank you kuya gab,” one fan wrote in the comments.
“Omggg!!! [emojis] thank you kuya gab! happy new year brgy. Pangilinan,” another netizen said.

Prior to the Pangilinans’ gathering, the singer-actress was spotted with her leading man’s family on several occasions, notably during the vice presidential campaign of former senator Kiko Pangilinan in 2022. Even so, the onscreen partners remain mum about their real-life status, as of this writing.
The popular tandem of Belle and Donny, also known as DonBelle, recently flew to Dubai to promote their film “An Inconvenient Love” which premiered in local cinemas in November 2022. The onscreen pair was spotted going skydiving and enjoying a desert safari getaway in the tourist destination.
Mariano and Pangilinan had their first onscreen team-up in the web series “He’s Into Her” in May 2021, which ran for two seasons until August 2022. They also worked together in the December 2021 rom-com “Love is Color Blind” and “An Inconvenient Love.”
The DonBelle loveteam are set to star in their first teleserye together, “Can’t Buy Me Love,” but details about the plot and premiere date are yet to be revealed. EDV
