Kylie Padillla laughs off remark she ‘cheated first’ on Aljur Abrenica

Kylie Padillla appeared to be unbothered by criticisms as she just laughed off a netizen’s remark saying she “cheated first” on actor Aljur Abrenica, after the actress went on a trip to Thailand with a “fellow wanderer.”
Padilla responded with a face with tears of joy emoji to one @raining2934 who left the said comment on the actress’ Instagram post on Monday, Jan. 2. In the said post, Padilla was all smiles while glancing at her companion who was walking behind her and capturing the video.
“Totoo pala sabi ni Aljur [na] ikaw naman unang lumandi,” the netizen said. (So Aljur was right when he said you were actually the one who cheated first.)
The netizen was apparently referring to Abrenica’s “breaking silence” statement last October where he insinuated that the actress cheated on him first, urging her to “tell them the truth.”

Padilla recently hinted at her new romance by showing herself holding hands with a man whose face she opted not to show.
Kylie and Abrenica’s separation was confirmed to the public in 2021 by her dad, actor-turned-politician Robin Padilla, who said that the breakup was due to a supposed third party. At the time, Abrenica was being linked to actress AJ Raval who admitted that she and Abrenica were in the process of “getting to know each other,” but denied that she was the reason behind the split.
Last May, Kylie then revealed that she started dating again but admitted last October she was “not looking” for a new relationship after her “draining” breakup.
Kylie and Abrenica have two sons together, namely Alas Joaquin and Axl Romeo. Abrenica earlier opened up on his co-parenting setup with Kylie and confessed at the time that he was not closing doors on rekindling romance with her. EDV
