Dennis Padilla sends Christmas greetings to Barretto children Julia, Claudia, Leon and Dani

Dennis Padilla reached out anew to his children Julia, Claudia, Leon as well as their eldest sibling Dani, with the actor expressing his love and longing for them on Christmas.
Padilla sent his greetings along with throwback photos of them through a series of posts on his Instagram page on Saturday, Dec. 24.

Padilla also greeted Dani, the eldest child of his ex-wife Marjorie Barretto with actor Kier Legaspi.
“Dear Dani, Merry Christmas anak (my child). Praying for more blessings. Hope to meet Millie soon,” he said, referring to Dani’s three-year-old daughter. “Love you anak (my child).”

Padilla’s strained relationship with his children made headlines last June after he revealed to the public that they “forgot” to greet him on Father’s Day. In response to this, Leon addressed Padilla and asked him to stop the “public shaming” of his children.
In September, Julia then had an interview with broadcaster Karen Davila where the actress confessed needing more fatherly love and protection, which she is “not getting right now” from Padilla.
Padilla refuted his daughter’s statements and noted that she only knows “half the truth” about their family. He also clarified that he reached out to his children not to ask for money but for them to spend time with him. EDV
