Miss FIT PH organizers bring search to Baguio; aspirants have until tonight to email applications

MANILA, Philippines — This year’s search for Miss FIT (face, intelligence, tone) Philippines pageant candidates is reaching the homestretch, with another regional screening scheduled before the final screening this weekend.

After conducting screenings in Metro Manila, Visayas, and Mindanao, health and wellness management company ProMedia will head to Baguio City for the Northern Luzon leg of the nationwide search for prospective candidates on Nov. 26.

To secure an invitation, applicants must download and accomplish a form. The link may be found on the pageant’s official Facebook page. Applications must be e-mailed to [email protected] by Nov. 24, at 11:59 p.m.

For those who missed the initial screening in Metro Manila, and the regional screenings in the Visayas and Mindanao, and those who will not be able to attend the Northern Luzon leg on Saturday, a final screening is scheduled on Nov. 27.

Walk-in applicants will also be accepted for the final leg of the search, which will be held at the function room of Vista Shaw in Mandaluyong City (behind the Laurel Mansion).

The pageant is open for women who are assigned female at birth, with Filipino lineage, single and has never been married nor has given birth, between the ages of 17 and 26 years, and at least 5’5” tall.

A generous prize package awaits the new winners, with P200,000 in cash for the Miss FIT Philippines titleholder, and P75,000 and P50,000 worth of cash and other prizes for the first and second runners-up, respectively. Two more runners-up will each receive P30,000 worth of cash and other prizes.

The annual pageant is currently on its third edition this year, and it continues its search for Filipino women who possess a beautiful face (F), intellectual and emotional intelligence (I), and a toned and healthy body (T).

Binibining Pilipinas alumna Malka Shaver won in the first competition conducted virtually in 2020, while the 2021 queen was Yllana Marie Aduana, who went on to win the “Face of Binibini” award and finished in the Top 12 of the 2022 Bb. Pilipinas pageant. EDV
