Billy Crawford has nothing but gratitude to everyone who had been part of his journey in France’s “Danse avec les stars” (Dancing With the Stars), an experience that will “forever be imprinted in his heart.”
The actor-TV host made sure to give credit to those who supported him including his French dancing partner Fauve Hautot as well the show’s contestants and staff, through his Instagram page on Tuesday, Nov. 15.
“It’s been a few days since we won [‘Danse avec les Stars’] but from the bottom of my heart, thank you again [Fauve Hautot] for your patience and your amazing talent,” Crawford said. “I am forever grateful to have worked with someone as dope as you!”
“To all the pro dancers who helped each other to give an amazing show to the French public, salute and respect to all of you! The judges, thanks for encouraging us that we could always be better no matter what the circumstances are!” he added. “To all the public who voted for me and Fauve in the end, THANK YOU!”
Crawford then addressed his actress wife Coleen Garcia, his family and his Filipino supporters who he considers a big part of his success. Crawford also spoke about the relationships he built during the competition which he regards as one of the prizes he gained aside from the trophy.
“My wife [Coleen], I love you, my family, never could’ve done it without you guys sacrificing being here,” he wrote. “To my (countrymen) who try to follow updates on what’s going on even if it’s super early in the am.”
“Thank you all for this experience as it will be forever imprinted in my heart,” he stated. “In the end, hard work really does pay off!”
Crawford announced his participation in “Danse avec les stars” last July. He then got off to a good start as he was given a standing ovation by the judges during the show’s pilot episode. Crawford was also able to perform with Garcia who served as a “mystery dancer” during one of the show’s segments. EDV
