James Reid and Kelsey Merritt sent fans gushing over their chemistry in the recently released music video of the actor-musician’s new song “u & i.”

Merritt, who was donning a wedding dress, seemingly ran away with Reid who was waiting for her outside the church, as seen in Careless Music’s YouTube channel last Thursday, Sept. 29.

“Keep it on a hush… or not,” the caption reads.

Reid and Merritt then went from dancing in the streets to being intimate with each other inside a car. The music video has garnered over 1.2 million views as of this writing.

Reid released his new single by showing a “stolen photo” of himself with Merritt, which earlier made rounds on social media and led fans to speculate that romance was brewing between the two. As it turned out, the photo was intended to be used as the cover image of the actor-musician’s new song.

Reid’s “u & i” is part of his 10-track album which is set to be released this month.
