Donita Rose and her non-showbiz fiancé, musician Felson Palad, have tied the knot in a wedding ceremony in California, about four months since they got engaged.
Rose treated fans to a glimpse of their wedding while sharing the Bible verse “Surely Your goodness and unfailing love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever,” via her Instagram page today, Sept. 24. More moments from the event were also shown by Nice Print Photography on its Instagram page.
The actress looked radiant in a white short-sleeved wedding dress, while Palad donned a cream suit. The ceremony was held in a garden of a private estate in San Clemente.
Rose’s fellow celebrities Gelli de Belen, KC Concepcion, Iya Villania and Ana Roces were among those who greeted and sent their best wishes to the newlyweds.
Palad is Rose’s first public relationship since her split with her ex-husband Eric Villarama in 2016. Rose and Villarama have a son, JP.
Rose, who is currently based in the United States, announced her engagement to Palad in May. In an interview with Philippine Daily Inquirer in the same month, Rose, 47, admitted that she initially felt uncomfortable with her and Palad’s 10-year age gap, but she was eventually moved by his sincerity. /ra
