‘It’s Showtime’ hosts voice support for Vhong Navarro amid arrest order

“It’s Showtime” hosts Vice Ganda and Jhong Hilario assured Vhong Navarro of their support amid the cases filed against the actor-TV host.
Hilario was the first to address Navarro after the other hosts made their greetings, as seen in an episode of the noontime variety show on its Facebook page today, Sept. 20.
“Syempre, kay kuys Vhong — kuys Vhong nandito lang kami, kapit lang,” he said. “We love you, kuys Vhong.” (Of course, to brother Vhong — brother Vhong, we are here [for you], just hang in there. We love you, brother Vhong)
“Yes, mag-group hug tayo para kay Vhong (let’s have a group hug for Vhong),” Vice Ganda stated.
The hosts including Ogie Alcasid, Kim Chiu, Ryan Bang, Teddy Corpuz and Jackie Gonzaga then hugged each other while expressing their love for Navarro.
“We will all be praying for you, Vhong. We love you,” Vice Ganda added.
The Taguig City Court earlier ordered the arrest of Navarro for the acts of lasciviousness filed by model Deniece Cornejo in 2014. The actor-TV host was able to post bail for this but another court, Taguig Regional Trial Court, later ordered his arrest as well for a separate rape case also filed by Cornejo.
Cornejo accused Navarro of molesting her on Jan. 22, 2014. She later said that a prior incident took place on Jan. 14, 2014. JB
