Navarro surrenders to NBI, to post bail in Taguig court
MANILA, Philippines — Actor and TV host Vhong Navarro on Monday appeared before the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) following an order for his arrest by the Taguig City Metropolitan Trial Court (MeTC).
His lawyer, Atty. Alma Mallonga said Navarro will be posting bail today, Monday.
The Taguig MeTc has set a P36,000 bail for Navarro’s temporary liberty.
Model Deniece Cornejo accused Navarro of molesting her initially on January 22, 2014. Eventually, she included a prior incident on January 14, 2014
Navarro, however, maintained that he has already told the truth.
“Nilahad ko lahat ng nangyari, wala akong tinago sinabi ko lahat, alam ng pamilya ko yon,” Navarro told reporters.
