Maricel Soriano gears up for new series with ABS-CBN

Maricel Soriano has revealed that she is set to appear in a new ABS-CBN TV series, over a year since her last teleserye ended.

The Diamond Star announced this while thanking executives and creatives at Dreamscape Entertainment, via a series of Twitter posts yesterday, Sept. 19. Dreamscape is ABS-CBN’s production arm behind the TV series “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” and “The Broken Marriage Vow,” among others.

“Maricel Soriano new teleserye soon. Salamashteh (Thank you) [Dreamscape Entertainment!],” she said.

Soriano can then be seen with directors Manny Palo and Jojo Saguin, among others, seemingly indicating their involvement in the actress’ upcoming series.

A premiere date and other details on Soriano’s new project are yet to be announced as of this writing.

Soriano was last seen on TV as Lucing Pineda in the 2021 drama series “Ang sa Iyo Ay Akin,” where she starred alongside Jodi Sta. Maria, Iza Calzado and Sam Milby.

Earlier this year, the actress was also revealed to star in the international romcom film “Re-Live” where she will be appearing with American actresses Rain Valdez and Rachel Leyco.  /ra
