Jason Abalos and actress-beauty queen Vickie Rushton have finally tied the knot in Batangas, after months of being secretly engaged.
The couple exchanged “I do’s” at San Antonio de Padua Parish in Nasugbu, Batangas, as seen on Nice Print Photography’s Instagram page yesterday, Sept. 1.
Rushton looked blooming in a white long-sleeved Francis Libiran gown embellished with various rhinestones, while Abalos was dashing in an embroidered Barong Tagalog with Baybayin threadwork, also by Libiran.
Among the celebrity guests in Abalos and Rushton’s wedding were Joross Gamboa, Marco Alcaraz, Patrick Garcia, Kaye Abad, Paul Jake Castillo and Samantha Bernardo, as seen on their respective Instagram accounts, also yesterday.
Abalos and Rushton met during a “Kapamilya Karavan” event in Bacolod city back in 2010. They have since been seen supporting each other in their respective crafts, with Abalos cheering on Rushton when she competed and won first runner-up in Binibining Pilipinas 2018.
The couple has been engaged since last year, but only revealed their engagement last June 2. /ra
