Ruffa Gutierrez is now pursuing a master’s degree after graduating from college with a bachelor’s degree in communication arts.

The 48-year-old actress gave fans a glimpse of her graduation photo as she expressed gratitude to those who supported her in her educational journey, through her Instagram page today, Aug. 23.

“I humbly want to share that I have graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from the Philippine Women’s University under the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP),” she said.

“I would not have been able to successfully embark on my educational journey without the continuous guidance of PWU‘s ETEEAP team of professionals and the immeasurable support of my loved ones,” she added.

Gutierrez then announced that her “journey continues” as she enrolled at the same university to earn a master’s degree.

“Because of my enduring commitment to continuously seeking knowledge and equipping myself with new skills that will help me prosper and fulfill my dreams in the ever-changing global scene, I also proudly share with you that I am officially an MA-ComArts student at PWU,” she stated. “The journey continues — unstoppable!”

Fellow celebrities who sent their congratulatory greetings to the actress include Karla Estrada, Arlene Muhlach, Donita Rose and Jugs Jugueta.

Gutierrez returned to school in May last year. She then announced last March that she was set to graduate, telling fans that “it’s never too late” to pursue education.  /ra
