Jaya and her family are looking forward to finding a new home after their house in the United States burned down earlier this week.
The soul singer announced that they are leaving their destroyed home by reposting an Instagram post by her husband Gary Gotidoc on her own Instagram page yesterday, Aug. 10. She showed herself and her family outside their old house while looking back at memories they made during their stay there.
“The last time we are ever stepping into this house! We had some pretty fun memories here during our short time. We will never forget all the kind neighbors we had that showed us love and support!” she said. “It was a fun ride Capitola Pl. Now off to our new adventure and finding a new place to call home!”
Jaya revealed last Monday, Aug. 8, that her home in the US had been engulfed by a fire. She assured fans that she and her family are all safe despite the incident.
The singer moved to the US with her family in July last year. At the time, she described moving abroad as a “new journey” and said she was surrendering everything to her Maker after experiencing a series of challenges amid the COVID-19 pandemic. /ra
