LOOK: Sandara Park is back in the Philippines
Sandara Park, affectionately dubbed “Pambansang Krung-krung,” has surprised Filipino fans with her return to the Philippines.
Park, who first gained fame as a “Star Circle Quest” talent in the country, arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, as seen on its Instagram page yesterday, July 27. The singer is yet to announce the purpose of her visit, as of writing.
“South Korean pop star Sandara Park arrives in Manila. A member of a famous k-pop group 2NE1 and a contestant of ‘Star Circle Quest’ Batch 1,” the airport management said.

Fans also caught a glimpse of the K-pop star, with some of them showing videos of her at the airport surrounded by security personnel, via their Twitter pages today, July 28.

Park, who last visited the Philippines over two years ago, spoke about her Christmas wish in December 2021, which is to return to the country and perform for her Filipino fans.
Park is also staying true to her Filipino roots, proving it on several instances such as when using the Filipino language in ordering food, as well as when she recommended local food to GOT7’s BamBam who was recently in Cebu. JB
