LOOK: ‘Drag Race Philippines’ introduces 12 queens for first season

“Drag Race Philippines,” the local adaptation of the hit reality TV series “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” has revealed the 12 queens who will be competing in its first-ever season this coming August.
The contestants in the local adaptation were introduced as a group through the show’s official Instagram page today, July 27.
“Queens of the Philippines – start your engines! Meet the Queens of @dragraceph Season 1 now on @wowpresentsplus!” it stated.
Fans then got to get a closer look at each contestant through a series of teaser photos featuring them in full glam, also on the show’s Instagram page today.
The queens of “Drag Race Philippines” season 1 are: Brigiding, Corazon, Eva Le Queen, Gigi Era, Lady Morgana, Marina Summers, Minty Fresh, Precious Paula Nicole, Prince, Turing, Viñas DeLuxe and Xilhouete.

“Drag Race Philippines” will be hosted by actor-TV host Paolo Ballesteros, while celebrity impersonator KaladKaren and Filipino drag queen Jiggly Caliente will serve as judges.
The show is set to premiere worldwide on Aug. 17, via the streaming service Wow Presents Plus, but it is only offered in Canada through the streaming platform Crave.
“RuPaul’s Drag Race” is a reality drag competition which first aired in 2009. Other franchises under “Drag Race” include those in Canada, Spain, Thailand and the United Kingdom. /ra
