Karla Estrada is set to leave ABS-CBN’s “Magandang Buhay” soon as she taped her farewell episode as main co-host of the morning talk show.
The show’s writer Darla Sauler revealed that Estrada will be ending her six-year run as a “Magandang Buhay” host and wished the actress good luck in her future endeavors, via her Instagram page yesterday, June 24. She also showed Estrada’s reunion with her fellow “momshies” and original “Magandang Buhay” hosts Jolina Magdangal and Melai Cantiveros.
“Reunited for the farewell episode of momshie Karla Estrada on ‘Magandang Buhay’!” Sauler said. “Good luck sa new chapter and journey mo mare!” (Good luck on the new chapter and your new journey, friend!)
Prior to this, Estrada teased her departure from “Magandang Buhay” by saying “ang pamamaalam (the farewell)” and showing herself with Magdangal and Cantiveros on her Instagram page Thursday, June 23.
Estrada temporarily left “Magandang Buhay” when she ran for a party-list seat in the May 2022 elections. Guest co-hosts have since been joining Magdangal and Cantiveros in the program.
Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez joined the show earlier this year, then left mid-June for her judging stint in “Idol Philippines.” She was replaced by actress Judy Ann Santos, who has been a guest host since Tuesday, June 21. /ra
