Jennylyn Mercado is now working to get her pre-pregnancy figure back, just a month after she gave birth to her child with husband, actor Dennis Trillo.

The actress treated fans to a glimpse of the first day of her fitness journey, as shown on her Instagram page today, June 8. Mercado can be seen in an all-black workout attire while lying down on a pilates workout equipment.

“Postpartum fitness isn’t easy but we’ll make it through!” she said.

Mercado gave birth to baby “D” last April 25 but announced it to the public about a week after, via a vlog which was supposed to be just a nursery room tour. Trillo then gave a glimpse of the child’s face through a Mother’s Day appreciation post for the actress.  /ra
