Kim Atienza now ‘100 percent healed’ from COVID-19

Kim Atienza is now fully recovered from COVID-19 after he earlier tested positive for the novel coronavirus and was placed in isolation.
The TV host announced his recovery while showing himself singing Rascal Flatts’ song “I Won’t Let Go” on his Instagram page yesterday, June 3.
“I am now 100 percent healed of [COVID-19]. Thank you dear God for being there for me all the time,” he said.
Atienza also quoted the Bible verse, “I will say of the LORD, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’ Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.”

Celebrities Ogie Alcasid, Chesca Garcia, Jugs Jugueta and Geneva Cruz, as well as broadcasters Connie Sison and Arnold Clavio were among those who expressed gratefulness for Atienza’s good news.

“Yay! I’m so happy! Ingat (Take care), friend,” Cruz told Atienza.

Atienza revealed last May 28 that he was in isolation after contracting the coronavirus. He was not able to attend his daughter Eliana’s high school graduation because of his condition at the time.
Atienza formerly appeared in various programs in ABS-CBN before transferring to GMA Network in October last year. He now hosts the trivia segment “Kuya Kim, Ano Na?” on “24 Oras” and co-hosts the morning talk show “Mars Pa More” with Camille Prats and Iya Villania. /ra
