Miles Ocampo grateful to ‘Eat Bulaga’ for first birthday performance in 19 years

Miles Ocampo thanked the long-running noontime variety show “Eat Bulaga” where she had a birthday production number, her first in 19 years.

The actress concluded her birth month through an appreciation message on her Facebook page yesterday, May 31. She also showed a glimpse of her performance, aired on May 2, where she danced to Little Mix’s “Woman Like Me.”

“Bago matapos ang birth month ko, gusto ko lang ulit magpasalamat sa ‘Eat Bulaga.’ After 19 years, ngayon lang ako nagkaroon ng birthday prod,” she said.

After her performance, Ocampo got teary eyed when her fellow hosts Jose Manalo, Paollo Ballesteros, Maja Salvador and Ryan Agoncillo gave her a cake. Ocampo then stated that it was her first time to blow a birthday candle on national TV.

“I appreciate you, Bulaga/APT family. ‘Di ko po ito makakalimutan,” she added. “Gagalingan ko pa po jokes ko, promise… [Love] ko po kayo!”

Meanwhile, Ocampo’s relationship with fellow actor Elijah Canlas was earlier confirmed to the public, after the latter revealed it in an interview with comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz. Although Canlas did not state the exact date when their relationship started, he said they have been together since last year. JB
