WATCH: Bea Alonzo fulfills dream of owning apartment in Europe
Bea Alonzo made one of her dreams turn into reality as she finally bought an apartment in Madrid, Spain, after spending days of apartment hunting in the city.
The actress treated fans to a glimpse of the interiors of the apartments she went to, through her YouTube channel yesterday, May 14. The vlog also marked a milestone for her as it is the 100th episode on her channel.
“It has always been my dream to own an apartment in Europe for my family. And finally, it happened!” she said. “After many years of hard work, and weighing things whether I should buy or not, I have decided to just take a leap and do it!”
Alonzo disclosed that she had been looking for an apartment since last year and chanced upon an article about having a golden visa in Spain. The said visa instantly grants residency permit but the actress clarified that she will not become a Spanish citizen.
“Recently, nagpunta ako sa (I went to) Madrid and a lot of you have speculated that it was for work but it was actually not for work,” she stated. “It’s very personal and since you have seen me grow here sa YouTube, parang hindi na ko mahihiyang i-share ito sa inyo (I feel like I am not shy anymore to share this with you) and I’m quite excited actually to inspire you even more.”
Alonzo stayed in the city for five days and was able to check six apartments. She stated that she had a hard time choosing between her two final choices, adding that even at her age, she usually considers her mom’s opinion before making decisions.
“My overall experience doon sa apartment hunting namin in Madrid is it was exciting but very tiring, only because we only had four days to do it. Para akong nag-tour sa different neighborhoods sa Madrid,” she added. “It’s a good thing. I have fallen in love more with it.”
