Bea Alonzo not in a hurry to get married, have kids: ‘It’s not a race’

Bea Alonzo spoke about not being in a hurry to settle down and have kids yet, but instead would rather take her time because “it’s not a race, after all.”

Alonzo, who was answering fan questions, gave her explanation after a netizen asked her about getting married and having children, through her Instagram story yesterday, Jan. 25.

“You’re not getting any younger po, when will you get married and have kids like [Marian Rivera, Anne Curtis, Jennylyn Mercado, etc.]?” the netizen asked.

“May taxi? (Is there a taxi?)” Alonzo jokingly answered. “Hindi ako nagmamadali (I’m not in a hurry). I’d like to take my time.”

The actress then talked about having her “own timeline” when it comes to these matters.

“It’s not a race after all. I believe we all have our own timeline,” she explained.

Meanwhile, Alonzo also responded to a netizen who asked what she likes most about her boyfriend, actor-model Dominic Roque, on her Instagram story, also yesterday.

“The way he loves me, the way he takes care of me,” she stated. “Sarap pala ng inaalagaan.” (It feels good to be taken care of.)

Alonzo confirmed her relationship with Roque in August last year, through an exclusive interview with GMA Network’s news program “24 Oras.” Though she considers Roque as “husband material,” Alonzo shared that she thinks it’s too early for them to settle down. JB
